Upcoming Webinar: The Journey from Validate to Innovate

June 7, 2016

Upcoming Webinar | Thursday 16th June, 2.00pm (GMT) | Register Now

This presentation focuses on technology, solving, model-building, and applications of SIMULIA's traditional products including Abaqus, fe-safe, Tosca, and Isight. When these products are used together, simulation values expand rapidly beyond simply building and solving FEA models to include lifecycle prediction, shape and parameter optimisation, and design space exploration. The content of the lecture will be delivered by means of a set of new applications that illustrate the leverage that the SIMULIA technology can bring to all users. The lecture will show both why and how it can be done. The whole is so much more than the sum of the parts.

  • Learn how to leverage the power available to drive innovation that draws upon the technology from Abaqus, Isight, Tosca and fe-safe.

  • Understand the difference between Validate and Innovate and see first hand the best practices available to all of our customers that have adopted the popular Extended Token licensing.

About the Presenter: David Barnes, Senior Director, SIMULIA Growth Initiatives

After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh in 1983, David spent 8 years at what is now Rolls-Royce performing simulation as part of the Advanced Engine Design team, then another 8 years pioneering simulation methods for General Motors lighting products before joining AC Engineering in 1999. Many name changes and a few acquisitions later he is now responsible for leading a SIMULIA special initiative to guide customers along the journey from Validate to Innovate by leveraging the SIMULIA “Power of the Portfolio”. Before taking on his current role, he performed consulting, managed the engineering services, served as GM for the SIMULIA Central offices, and for the past 7 years, directed the Americas field organization for SIMULIA.
