Coupled Eulerian-Lagrangian modelling in Abaqus allows the user to unlock functionality, which are not available, or prohibitively complicated using the traditional approach to Finite Element Analysis. Combining both the conventional structural Lagrangian elements, and the fluid-like behaviour of the Eulerian formulation enables the user to simulate complex phenomena such as fluid sloshing, blasts, impact or complicated forming operations.
This webinar is aimed for analysts with experience in structural analysis, aiming to get an overview of additional functionalities available to broaden their simulation capabilities. New and prospective users should also attend to get a glimpse of the various analysis types they are capable of performing using Abaqus.
About the Presenter: Kedar Upadhye, PLM Consultant at Intrinsys
Kedar has over a decade of engineering experience to back up his BEng. and MSc. in Mechanical Engineering Design. His design and analysis capabilities are supported by a number of years working in project planning and management roles on multimillion dollar programmes within an international context. Kedar is a certified CATIA trainer, wth experience delivering standard and customised training to companies such as BAE Systems, Jaguar Land Rover, GKN, and Honda. When not training clients he provided customer application support on CATIA (V5 and V6), SIMULIA Abaqus and Isight. He also developed an in-depth knowledge of the CATIA Composites workbench and the FEA component of CATIA. Kedar has continued to develop his software skills, related to Dassault Systemes' latest 3DEXPERIENCE Platform software, and works closely with clients within training, support and as part of the software and process implementation team.
