Configuration Overview
This configuration provides in one seat all the necessary tools to create and manage Electrical wires and harnesses. This comprehensive package of 3D advanced products allows user to design physical harnesses within the context of the 3D mock-up and at the same time, manage the definition of electrical wires within the digital mock-up according to the functional definition of electrical signals. The Electrical Library provides user with mechanical parts and assemblies with electrical behaviors in order to define electrical devices and ensure a tight relationship between 3D physical implementation and its logical electrical representation. 

This configuration is also a set of core CATIA tools allowing user to perform advanced 3D design of parts and assemblies in the context of the full scale digital mock-up, and generation of production drawings. In addition, it includes integrated real-time rendering capabilities. Knowledge basic capabilities provided through Knowledge Expert 1 will allow designers to import and use corporate knowledge stored in rule databases to ensure consistency and quality of their designs. As a CATIA P2 configuration, this solution offers integration tools for compatibility with CATIA Version 4. It includes data interfaces to most frequently used industry standards, including IGES and CADAM drawings for a smooth and fluid collaboration.
