October 7, 2010

Dassault Systèmes today announced that speakers from Ford, Procter & Gamble (P&G) and GE will be among the customers presenting at the 2010 Dassault Systèmes Customer Conference (DSCC), taking place November 9-10 at the Renaissance Orlando Resort at SeaWorld, Florida.

This year’s conference, which brings together the company’s CATIA, DELMIA, ENOVIA, SIMULIA and 3DVIA customers, partners and technology leaders in one setting, will follow the theme, “Dream to Life: Envision & Invent the Future.”

Keynote speakers Robert Trecapelli, director of digital innovation, Global PLM and Global Enterprise Process and Information Systems Commonality, Ford Motor Company, and Michael A. Telljohann, director, product innovation/PLM, P&G Global Business Services, Procter & Gamble, will discuss how DS’s 3D design and PLM technology is helping their companies change the way they do business. Bernard Charlès, president and CEO of Dassault Systèmes, will also deliver a keynote, in which he will share his vision for PLM 2.0 and lifelike 3D applications.

In addition, the conference will feature a customer panel including representatives from GE Energy, IBM Corporation, Medtronic and Tesla Motors, as well as a CEO panel composed of executives from each DS brand (CATIA, DELMIA, ENOVIA, SIMULIA, SolidWorks and 3DVIA). Technology previews and industry sessions will round out the event.

Attendees will learn how DS customers and partners are successfully transforming new product innovation at companies of every size and in a variety of vertical markets, including aerospace and defense, automotive, consumer goods-fashion, consumer packaged goods, energy, high tech, industrial equipment and life sciences. In the robust general session and breakouts, organized by industry and PLM brand, industry leaders will candidly discuss the challenges they’ve faced using 3D and PLM in a difficult economic climate.

“DS solutions are designed to bring our customers’ imaginations to life,” said Al Bunshaft, managing director, Americas, Dassault Systèmes and host of this year’s conference. “At DSCC 2010, everyone in attendance will have an opportunity to learn from both enterprise and small to mid-sized companies how they have revolutionized their product ideation, creation and development with DS’s PLM and 3D solutions.”
