Upcoming Webinar: Using Checklists for Building Robust Abaqus Models

April 27, 2016

Upcoming Webinar | Thursday 19th May, 2.00pm (BST) | Register Now

All engineers will know that Abaqus models are continuously becoming larger and more complex. These larger and more complex models are more prone to modelling errors, which lead to difficulty in getting a converged and accurate solution. This webinar will highlight the use of analysis checklists to systematically build more robust Abaqus models. Tips and techniques for debugging models that don’t converge will also be discussed. Learn techniques to build large robust models to provide accurate results while still being computationally efficient:

  • Scoping calculations with simplified models
  • Pre-analysis techniques to prevent non-convergence
  • Robust contact modelling
  • Appropriate uses of stabilisation techniques

Who Should Attend?
Abaqus users who want their analyses to converge more reliably should attend.
